High Quality H2O

Over the past few months I've read numerous articles about water intake and how it can help aid in weight loss. When I first started on this weight loss journey I thought getting in 64+ oz of water a day would be no problem for me. I only drink water (I gave up pop about 7 years ago; only have had maybe 4 or 5 in the last 7 years since I gave it up for good) so I thought this will be the easiest part of this journey for me. Wow! Was I wrong. Even though I was only drinking water I was going a half a day without drinking anything. Bad..I know! So I've made a conscious decision to journal my water intake daily as I do my food. 


For about a month now I've been doing that and its almost like a competition with myself to get my water intake now. How do I do it, you ask? Here's how! 


gallon container

add ice


cut lemons (i use about 5)  

add limes (i only use 2)

64 oz of high quality h2o
I fix the water either the day before or at least the night before to let the lemon and limes "fuse" a little more and give it a better flavor! YUM!
